Dunbar Rolls Out District Office Welcome Mats in Penn Township and North Huntingdon
State Rep.-elect George Dunbar (R-Westmoreland) announced today that his legislative offices in both Penn Township and North Huntingdon are now open to serve the people of the 56th Legislative District.
“I’m determined to be the most effective, accessible and responsive representative I can be for the citizens of Westmoreland County,” said Dunbar, who will be officially sworn in for his first term in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives on Tuesday, Jan. 4. “My staff and I are here to work for you.”

“Effective immediately, we are handling residents’ questions and concerns face to face,” Dunbar stated. “My staff and I are anxious to meet one-on-one with the people of our district and provide them with the level of constituent service that we promised and that they deserve.”
In addition to representing the 56th district in Harrisburg, Dunbar and his staff are available to help obtain student loan, driver license and vehicle registration applications, locate birth and death certificates, assist senior citizens with prescription benefits forms and Property Tax/Rent Rebate applications, and be of assistance to all district residents in obtaining information on state government programs, services and legislation.
The 56th Legislative District covers part of Westmoreland County and includes the city of Jeannette, part of the townships of North Huntingdon and Penn, and the boroughs of Irwin, North Irwin, and Penn.
